WADEBRIDGE is near the middle of the Cornish section of the A39, which runs from Bude in the north to Falmouth in the south. The Royal Cornwall Showground is a mile or so west of the town. In the 2001 census the population of Wadebridge was 6,222. |

WENDRON (named after St Gwendern) is a village north of Helston. Main attraction is the Poldark Mine & Heritage Centre, | ||
WHITSTONE is a village in the north of the county and less than a mile from the county border. Nearest town is Bude. | ||
WIDEMOUTH BAY is a couple of miles south of Bude and has a large expanse of sandy beach. The surfing can be good here quite often. |
