Merlins Cove and waterfalls
Tintagel haven / Merlins Cove is a tiny beach of sand and pebbles situated below Tintagel Castle. Access can be difficult. The beach is backed on its north-eastern side by a pair of waterfalls at the end of a stream running down from Tintagel village, which about a quarter of a mile inland inland. The renowned Merlin's Cave is accessible from the beach and it is possible to walk right through it at low tide.
Warning: There is no beach at high tide and only a small amount of dark sand at low tide.

Difficult access down cliff path.
