![]() Cornwall Council owned beach. Bounded by the Bude Canal on the southern end and sand dunes to the north. The town of Bude is situated behind the beach. The north end of the beach is rocky and the sea pool is hidden at high tide with rocks in the pool. There is a strong rip tide around the river area and the beach gets very crowded in the peak holiday season. Access Large Car park at rear of beach off Summerleaze Crescent. Facilities Lifeguard over the Easter weekend (22nd to 25th April) then 29th April to 25th September. Bude lifeboat station. Council car park and toilets (including Disabled), shops and café near by. Sand chairs for the disabled are available for hire, please contact Summerleaze Beach Office on 01288 352226. Bude Sea Pool, which has lifeguards. Parking Large public car park adjacent to the beach. Dog Friendly Allowed all year around, however dogs must be kept on leads between 10:00am and 6:00pm from the 21st May to 30th September. Back to Beach Map |
