TOWN BEACH, ST IVES

 
 
St Ives Town )or Harbour) Beach

Very large but sheltered sandy harbour beach. Also known as St Ives Harbour beach. It has golden sand and is sheltered on the eastern side by Smeaton's Pier.

Access
Situated in the centre of St Ives.

Swimming & Surfing
Not a recognised surfing area but suitable for swimming when the tide is not out.

Facilities
All facilities in the town at the back of the beach.

Parking
Parking is difficult in St Ives. There is a park and ride scheme operating from Carbis Bay.

Dog Friendly
Dogs banned at all times.
