Swimming & Surfing
This is a reasonably exposed beach break that usually has waves and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the east southeast. It tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the west northwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Often Crowded. Watch out for rips and crowds.
Lifeguard cover provided by the RNLI from 21 May to 25 September (in 2011).
