Also known as North Cliffs Beach. Mainly rock and pebble with some sand near the low tide mark.
At the south end of Reskajeage Downs, just off the B3301 from Portreath to Hayle. Turn north off the A30 at the Treswithian end of Camborne and follow the signs to Coombe. In Coombe turn left towards Gwithian and Godrevy. When you meet the B3301. turn right towards Portreath and after half a mile the first car park is on your left.
At low tide it is easy to see the remains of the MV Secil Japan, wrecked in 1989, appearing above the surface.
